Eversheds have a ccj issued and I was ordered to pay £1pm ok so far[6 years] but today they sent me a statement of means with the intent of upping payments if no reply in 14 days they will take me to court again. Can theY do this or is it a scare tactic for me to pay more which I cant afford? Dont get me wrong Im not worried about filling the form as I havent won the lottery . thanks

I have no idea but thought you could do with a bump back up the boards£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
Sealed Pot #389 (2010=£133)0 -
One of the info sheets here could help (I didn;t go through them so I can't guarantee it though): http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/ManagingDebt/CourtClaimsAndBankruptcy/DG_10013083
And you could try calling www.nationaldebtline.co.uk tomorrow£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Yes, they can apply to have the order varied but it's going to cost them to do it.
So they've got to be sure it's worth their while.
So it is likely to be scare tactics.
We'll gladly have a look at your 'statement of affairs' for you if you want0
