Hi I'm with the Skipton BS and have been overpaying my mortgage on a monthly basis by £350 for a couple of years. I have a 4 year fixed rate deal which is not so fab now but am halfway thru. At the time it seemed like a safe bet as i came to the end of a US Libor deal with the Skipton which was great for a few years but then not so good! - and i didn't think i'd be in a position to pay it off any quicker than within the term plus the max 10% OPs - had a slight change in circumstances and now can pay off a bit more each month - but yes wish i hadn't fixed
