endownment selling

we have an endownment for eleven years, and still has 14 yearrs to run, and is running on track.As we are about to emmigrate to austraila in the next few months. We have been told that it is better to sell our endownment, but not to the company we hold it with. Have you any advice on getting the best deal for our endownment.
