Bit of advise please

Heres our situation at the moment

Current Lender Mortgage Express
Total Outstanding £69K (41K Interest Only & 28K repayment)
Fixed Rate Self Cert @ 6.49% - 18 months left on 3 yr deal
House Value of approx £140K

I'm self employed (reasonable accounts for 3 years) and OH earns £21K

Had letter from ME telling us they will waiver early fees if we move lending before June.

What sort of deal can I expect to pick up and who is best to try at the moment?

Based on those figures you will have the pick of the rates out there at the moment.

It looks like the fact MX are waiving this fee would be a good result for you in your particular situation

You could be looking at low 3% deals upwards, with varying fees, which you would need to look at which would be most cost effective for you in your situation.

You may even take the opportunity to change over more of the mortgage to repayment, and less on interest only
