    are these mustard leaves
    small like salad leaves

or are these mustard greens large like cabbage or turnip greens, thick on long stalks?

if they are small like salad leaves they are really nice in... salad!
or on a sandwich, use to replace cress, mix in with tuna salad etc

if they are more like greens or kale

lightly steam them so they just start to wilt

add butter, garlic granules or powder and the powedered parmesan that comes in the little canisters (think it's technically peccarino cheese, stronger than fresh parmesan)

this is THE way we eat our greens now.... mmmmmmmmmm

they sound like oriental mustard greens, there are loads of different varieties all slightly different from one another

if they're tender & sweet enough use them in salad and/or in sandwiches. if they're not so tender I'd use them in a stir fry, and/or put them in soup, added during the last 10-15 minutes before serving to give a nice fresh green bite to it
  • lovely in a stirfry especially with beef
