I have previously pmd and emailed her, have just sent another email to see if she has any suggestions.
I need to try to sort this out, as I am sure they should not have charged me such an excesive amount, especially as they didnt even enter my property.0 -
Hi, from the link that RAS posted, there is a link to a leaflet about charges etc.........including how to complain. Here is a link to that bit of it. http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFinder/GetLeaflet.do?court_leaflets_id=261
It doesn't detail tha charges, but does give advice.....you may be better taking it up with them.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
Thanks for that, I think i probably do need to take this further, as I honestly believe that Sherforce think if they keep ignoring me or giving me useless replies I will go away, but that wont happen. I was charged nearly 2000 in fees by someone who visited my property once to put a letter through the door and once to remove goods, which if his company had acted on my offer and he had informed them of my phone call, which was backed up in writing he would not have called a second time, and i wouldnt have been charged an additional 1100 from the first letter.0

and beyond that have you started to check out how this CCJ got listed without your knowledge and tried to overturn it?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

Snuggle, from what you have said, you do not appear to be getting anywhere with Sherforce.
I think you write to place suggested in the link.
It appears that they can advise you of the fees that are chargeable.

yes, I have got in touch with the northampton county court, which is a bulk centre. they say that i was sent the judgement, however i explained it was never received. They were very helpful though and gave me details of the solicitors that were dealing with the case, who i have spoken to on a couple of occasions, however they have failed to provide the information that I requested and now the manager whose details i had never seems to be avaliable to take my calls. Initially though he told me they would be investigating the charges, and the fact that sherforce failed to inform them of my offer of payment. But as I cant get any further response from them I have not so far been able to follow this part up. They also state that they sent me letters, however these were initally going to an address i previously lived at, as this debt is from 20050

Hi
There are two issues
1. The bailiff and how he collected the debt.
2, Whether you should have the CCJ against you in the first place.
Read here http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=12_how_to_set_aside_a_judgment_in_the_county_court
And start to undo the CCJ. I would suggest that you also do a subject access request on the creditor. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
so if it is set aside, would the charges that i have received be refunded? or do i still need to continue with my complaint on that one?
Do i need to send this form to the bulk centre court that issued the judgement?
What is a subject access request
Sorry for all the questions0 -

You need to do both. The Court is not responsible for the charges. However sherforce will look even sillier charging for a debt that was not even legitimate.
What is a subject access request
Since you did not recieve the default letters etc relating to the debt, we have no way of knowing if they are legally compliant.
The SAR means the creditor has to send you a copy of everything related to the debt.
That means you can fight the case in the courts if needs be.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
