Asda interview

Hi I have been applying for jobs for months and at last I got a reply from Asda.I am wanting to know if anyone has ever went for a job with them.It says on the letter Asda Magic which is group tasks,interview and store viewing which takes 2 and a half hours.Can anyone tell me what to expect and what to wear.I am already panicking, got letter this morning and interview is Friday.Only thing is my son is going to get his tonsils out tomorrow so I hope I can get someone to mind him ok.What will i wear?Sorry for all questions but I petrified really hate role play and interviews.Thanks

    I went to one of these interviews, it was a group exercise, went through some videos and as a group you had to make an advert for a specific product. Was all very relaxed and most people dressed smart casual. That's as far as I went as they changed the goal posts, decided they only wanted part time staff as they had filled all the full time hours. Good luck with it though :beer:

  • I went for an interview in M&S 7 years ago. It was for part time temporary xmas hours. I was there half the day - they had me watch videos, tell them my lifes history, answer questions in front of 4 interviewers and then go down on to the shop floor and stop real customers (in the middle of their shopping) and tell them that I had applied for a job with M&S and would they mind answering a short questionaire!!

    In the end I was over qualified!!
