Not seeing the marks it's difficult to advise, but I got scuff marks from shoes off a wooden floor using a pencil rubber. It might be worth a try.

There is a product in most supermarkets or Robert Dyas etc called Magic Eraser. It really is magic - gets marks off walls, skirting boards etc with no harm to the paint. I always keep some in case my grandaughter draws on the walls again:eek:Middlers0
