Trouble with Blair Oliver Scott

Hello All
I have been reading these posts for many weeks and you were the inspiration OH and I needed two years ago when we entered a DMP.
All was going smoothly until couple of weeks back.
OH Sainsbury's credit card was passed to Blair Oliver Scott. We were told by Sainsbury's that we wouldn't have any problems and DCA would be easier to deal with. However, they have rung OH on several occasions and written several letters and no matter how many times we tell them we are in a DMP and that CCCS will contact them they have not left us alone.
This morning the letter threatening court action arrived. Please could someone tell me, from their own experience, whether BOS will follow this threat through.
I was going to CCA them in next few days. Is this still a worthwhile option.
No intention of ducking out of responsibilities but feel it may give us a bit more breathing space. We do accept that we spent the money, is it ok to do a CCA without - I do not acknowledge any debt.
Any help appreciated.

Yes, as BH said, CCA without the 'I do not etc...phrase' its all but irrelevant.
Why are these DCAs so inconsistent? BOS (£12k ) and MBNA (£8k ) have been !!!!!cats with me and I barely pay 1% on each per month via CCCS, but with others in less of a bad position they are gits

Blair Oliver Scott is the in-house DCa for the Bank of Scotland (BOS). it has not been sold on.
You might ant to complain to sainsbury's that they are giving false information to customers. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I can't see anywhere where it was claimed it was sold on?

Or am I missing it.

Thanks for replies so far. I understand that Blair, O, S are in-house collectors and I did wonder if a letter to Sainsbury's might make them sit up and take notice a bit more.
Anybody had court dealings with BOS?0 -

All my letters from BOS ( regarding AA Loan and CC ) quite clealy state that they are Debt Collectors and are Licensed under the CCA, so...does there need to be a Deed of Assignment? they clearly are a different Company from the Original creditor?

They can be that and still be "wholly owned" by BOS. Same with Metropolitan for HSBC and numerous other in house DCAs.
If they try to say explicitly they are not owned by BOS, then that would be bad. But I bet they don't go quite that far.:rolleyes:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Anyway, this is beside the point.
CCA them and see what they come back with.
