As a result of the Governments decision to drop VAT to 15% and in consultation with the local business community, we will pass back the reduction from metered charges in our car parks and also support trade in the town. Our parking promotion aims to encourage people to visit Guildford during these difficult times and give a much needed boost to our stores, cafes and restaurants.
The promotion will take place on Saturday 28 February and includes:
A voucher for three hours of free parking from 9.30am in one of our town centre pay and display car parks. This voucher is available for download, free parking voucher [PDF] (22k), or in person at our Tourist Information Centre. The voucher will be valid in the following car parks:
Bedford Road Multi Storey
Old Police Station
Millbrook
Upper High Street
Civic Hall
College Road/Bellerby
Mary Road
Lawn Road
Commercial Road
Millmead House
Bedford Surface
Robin Hood
Leapale Road Multi Storey
St Josephs Church
Bright Hill
Portsmouth Road
Also Multi storeys at York Road, Farnham Road and Guildford Park
Plus Free park and ride
