Hi
Was looking at getting one of these TV's but prefer John Lewis as they have a 5yr guarantee. They are currently out of stock. Has anyone else tried to get one of these and does anyone know if John Lewis are re-stocking?
Also, if it says out of stock on the web will that mean the shops are out of stock too as I might visit the newcastle store on sat.
Thanks in advance.

I rang the Newcastle store in January and they told me they weren't expecting any more in.
Its entirely possible the person i spoke to was wrong though. I would suggest ringing the Newcastle store, unless its no hassle at all to go in and ask on Saturday
Bought mine from play.com, which at the time was a good price and a 3 year guarantee0 -
Have a look at Richer Sounds.0

If thats true that they are not getting any more in then its quite bad seeing as they wont have an affordable sony to sell thats under £800. But thenm thats up to them. Its in currys no problem, but its a 1 year warranty. Ill have a look at richer sounds on sat too.0 -

Most big stores will be starting to clear these now as the new s5500 and v5500 sony models are due out soon which will fill the under £800 gap. The V4000 will still be available on the internet for a while though I imagine.0
