Lawyer Recommendation..?

Options
Could anyone recommend a good lawyer? I have a table that needs returning to manufacturer and they have made it clear they have no intention of actually honouring the pickup and replacement. I want to find someone in the legal industry who I can speak to regarding writing up some documentation for me in order to get them moving.

I would have thought any high street solicitor could do that for you - you might be better off asking around your friends to get a local recommendation (or try the Law Society website). But depending on how much the table is worth, you might end up spending more on the lawyer than on a new table.

I think that you almost certainly would spend more on a lawyer than the value of the table. But what you want to do is actually very simple: find out about the small claims track, and visit your local county court for general information about the procedure.

The CAB might be able to help, and can refer you on to a solicitor if not.

I agree CAB as first port of call. Perhaps a call to legal services that you may already pay for through your house/car insurance.
