Good luck, Luc! I didn't think you could play your ds in hospital, will store that little snippet for use in the future.

just be mindful of where you store it when not in use babes... theiving scumbags are rife in maternity units! if not the other mums, then some of their visitors... i remember the nurse telling me not to walk around with my morphine pump, which was around my neck on a string, outside my pj's or some junkie would rip it off my neck and be off with it!!

    mental!!

The bedside drawers are lockable ;)

I'm assuming I can use it. They let Hubbles use his phone to watch films on when he was in with that hole in his butt cheek:p

  • That is mad, Maz, morphine is great though, they had me on that with my hip operation, wake up, hit a button, go back to sleep: Repeat for about 24hrs.......wasn't best pleased when they took it out.

    Morning all.

Bean still hasn't moved voluntarily so I will be spending this morning repacking hospital bag to fit in entertainment (I've been warned there's a LOT of lying around being monitored) - books and Nintendo DS should cover it...

Mum is driving up tomorrow so need to lay out bedding for Hubbles to put on our bed for her (she can't sleep on the sofa bed with her hip...).

Also want to tidy away the accumulated debris from the weekend (bits of Wii still out, some clothes to fold, a wee bit of laundry)

By the time I've done that it should be about time to go in (need to be in at 1)

I don't think I have internet access while I'm in so will be off radar but I have monbile numbers for Maz and Jinky so will sneak a text to them when things start to move.

Just want to say thanks to you all for the great support over the past 36 weeks. Sorry if I've bored you/hijacked the thread on occasion with my questions and moods :o no doubt I'll be boring you even more with baby stories very soon...:rotfl:

    Love you all
    Luc xxx

P.S. MW has advised I probably shouldn't enter the 10k in May as it is now just 10 weeks away... so RFL 5k will be first target.
    Good luck today hun:A

    i vote girl though:D

Wouldnt bet on being able to DS though, the NHS are very sniffy about electrical equipment being brought in. Everything needs to be checked by a electrician, so it may well be confiscated:rolleyes: or thieved as Maz said.

Oh pancakes......just the job for dinner then:drool::drool::drool:
