Hi,
I'm new here so here goes.
I want to cancel the PPI on a loan I've had with A/L for two years so far.
Whats the best way of doing this, do any of you have a template letter I could have a look at.

Hi, I also have an A&L loan and wanted to cancel the PPI. I phoned them to ask about it and was told it had to be in writing. I haven't got round to doing it yet. I also have an Egg loan and was able to cancel PPI on the phone with them.100 Day Pot £13

we cancelled my girfriends on her HBSC loan because it was very expensive but we had to go in a talk to them about it and the girl we were talking to couldn't authorise it so a grumpy man had to come in and give us a bit of a lecture but then they cancelled it as long as we arranged a follow up meeting with them a few months later.
dull but cancelled.

Can I be cheeky and ask if they re-financed the loan into a new loan if you see what I mean?
I ask because my other half has an A & L loan with PPI and they have written back once, admittedly some time ago, and said that he would have to re-finance the loan. Just wondered what your experience was, and whether it would be worthwhile writing to them again???
Thanks

Hi Blade they kept the loan at the same interest rate and to finish at the same time.We did have to sign a new loan agreement but as the payments went down (£50 a month) and the total outstanding did (by £3k)I didnt see a problem with this..maybe someone will be along to correct me though
but all in all I'm a happy girl!
