Hi,
My husband and I are in need of some help, I have been refused credit today for a mobile phone contract. We know we owe out alot of money ( 41k:eek: ) but we are just about managing to keep up with the repayments for everything, although for how long I don't know, my husbands work has been slow for the last couple of months but will be picking up soon. I work 25hrs a week for the NHS. I have been on to the cccs website as there phonelines were busy, I was thinking about a DMP but am unsure if we can have one as my husband is a sub-contractor. I guess we will quailify for an IVA but I don't want to have to sell the car or risk any equity we may build up in the house ( we may be in negative now due to the falling house prices). Can anyone advise us on a DMP or any other way to stop things getting out of control.
Thank you in advance
Louise

:hello: just wanted to say hello and let you know that there will be lots of people to come and give you some advice soon.
they will all ask you to do a SOA (statement of affairs) there's a sticky on top of the forum and then they will all have a look and see what advice they can give.
Go and get a cup of coffee and let the wizards come on board, you've made the first step which is always the hardest.0 -
Thank you for your reply. I will have a look at the SOA now.
