Lloyds TSB 6.4% Loans

Options
Hi
I can't help but notice that Lloyds TSB are now offering loans with a typical APR of 6.4%.
However, I do not notice them really getting a mention on either here or the MSE site itself, is there any reason for this?

What are peoples views on Lloyds TSB loans and is there any major early repayment charges I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance
Adrian

  • 2 months interest if you repay early unless you repay balance off minus one month and let that go through as normal and then loan is automatically paid off.
  • I got a loan with Abbey at 5.7% they are now typical at 5.9%

    They seem quite good.
  • The rate is probably only given to the odd customer. HSBC are advertising 6.9% Typical APR but when you phone up and go through it unless you have a particular "option" on your bank account you only get 10.9%!

It apparently makes no difference if you have a good credit score, are a mortgage customer and have had a bank account with them for ages!

    Still 6.9% isn't so good either - Cahoot at 5.6% I think!
