Microsoft Office - cheapest offers?

I know there are free alternatives out there but i do need to buy a copy of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).

Can anyone recommend the cheapest place to buy?

Thanks

  • I think ebay is your best shot
You can't keep a good man down...
  • That looks very cheap, has anyone used this company, are they OK?
  • Many employers subscribe to the "Microsoft Home Use Program". Because they buy lots of software with a wide-ranging license, Microsoft will sell to employee's at a vastly reduced rate. I purchased Offixe XP a few years ago for £19.00 (bargain!)
Your employer should be able to set this up if you speak to the IT department.

Thanks Scott but I am self employed so I don't have an IT department.
  • Could be shot for this one:rolleyes:

My friend was wanting same thing for uni so this is what he decided to do:
download the free trial then download a torrent with many product keys and see what one works.......... now that's cheap :rotfl:

I used to have 03 version and santa brought me 07.
IT have upgraded from 98 to 03 - I'm only one in the office who doesn't find it weird! :D

 What happened to the software4students post? Hope they're ok cos I've just ordered from them

Nearly forgot to mention - good price but a bit sneaky with a £1.95 "transaction charge" appearing at the checkout
