I didn't realise it was as bad

I'm a newcommer to posting things on the web + have finally plucked up the courage to seek help.
I run my own business + have just done the SOA calculator + scared myself with the results. the shop is £35k in debt and i am so scared i don't know how to reduce it. i have cut back stock already to minimum, i have no employees other than myself + my fiancee who does not know how bad it is.
I can't afford not to order stock, yet i can't make people come in and spend. When i think things are picking up, another bill comes in.
i know there are so many people in a much worse senario than me i just don't know where to turn or how to address this.

Hi TCM - thought I would reply so you didn't feel we were ignoring you. Welcome to the DFW board - you've done the right thing. However, I would really recommend to get in touch with the Self Employed counsellors at CCCS. The contact numbers are in a Sticky at the top of page one of the DFW forum threads. You are not alone, and although people on here will support you, you do really need to speak to the professionals regarding business debts."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something"0

Hi Tracey
You've got two factors that are unusual for this board - one is that these are business debts, so I would normally point you in the direction of Business Debtline, the business arm of National Debtline.
The other factor is that you are in Northern Ireland, where is law is slightly different from Englan/Wales or Scotland. I know CCCS have an NI branch but don't know how they react to business debts.
I do trust both of these organisations to point you in the right direction.0
