Not sure if I have posted on the correct forum site?
My question is........ my husband was made redundant in November. Will he get a P60 from his previous employers in April automatically or do I have to contact the employers and request one?

No he won't because he will get a P45 from the job he has just lost. Well he should have got it by now.0

For this September for university? They don't use this tax year, they have changed it so they are now using the previous tax year. (so you will need tax year info for 07/08) Not sure how wel they have implemented it though so you maybe able to do it for this year.
They may bug you for info, but you can send off P45 from that job, + covering letter stating unemployed since.0
