Council tax arrears & CRAs

Good morning all,
Does anyone know if council tax arrears get reported to the CRAs? I know a friend of mine got into bad shape last year with a liability order from council tax bailiff dept but nothing ever appeared on his credit report. Someone supposedly in-the-know told me that council tax arrears do appear on your credit report but they are known for their scare-mongering tactics and wondered if anyone here was clued up and knew for sure?
Much appreciated.

In don't think they are, or at least I've never heared of them being reported. Certainly, my council tax arrears were not reported. You could call up the national debt line and ask them.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Thanks. Would still like to be 100% sure though. Tried the NDH but no answer and to be honest I don't really want to trouble them over such a trivial matter.
If anyone knows for sure I'd be most grateful thanks.
