More cheap domain names

After my previous posts regarding free .info domains with 1and1 internet, i would like to extend my knowledge with regards buying domain names to all you money saving experts.
I set up and built the U.K.s largest domain name reseller, which i recently sold and would like to share with you the following.
with regards to .uk.com and .uk.net domain names, many U.K companies charge £65 to register these domains, even the official registrar, although i havent done a complete price comparison, i can offer the same domain names for $65.00 about £35 !!!
You can check availability at:
** We do not allow links for personal gain - Edited by Abuse Controller **
I have a U.S. account.
The other advantage of purchasing domains abroad is you do not get hit with the VAT on top of the price....
Will post more online savings soon.

i didn't realise that blatant self promotion was allowed on here chaps.
it's worth noting that .uk.com names carry a 2 year period so that's £35 * 2 = £70.
it's also strange that if you setup "the U.K.s largest domain name reseller" that you're now using a straight enom PDQ site to turn a profit.
if anyone wants domain names then pm me and i'll help you find the best deal - it's definately worth doing a " complete price comparison"0 -
This forum is about saving money, the uk registrant internames which own the .uk.net/ .uk.com domains sell the domains at £65/year, i am offering them to moneysavingexpert.com users for £35/year.
Yes all .uk.com/ .uk.net names require 2 years minimum registration saving you £60 There are lots more companies also selling these domains at greatly reduced prices from the official reseller and i would just like to point out to everyone on these forums that it is possible to make a great saving on these prices.
If anyone has even cheaper prices than these feel free to post them, i am not doing it for self gain, i am doing it to save people money which is the object of this forum.
Incidentally domain name sales are not my main business, i am a web designer and very succesful one, i use enom as a back up to my domain reseller site which has over 4500 domains for sale, i have just sold another site which was the worlds largest website reseller, i can assure you i dont need the minimal profits from selling domains but if i can help someone save £60 plus the vat i will do.

I purchase my domain names via https://www.compila.com
Their prices seem very competitive a .co.uk domain name is £7.61 including VAT for 2 years.
They also provide hosting at £14.10 including VAT per year, this includes the domain name and loads of other features.
Their support has been very good as well.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

Why would anyone want a stupid .uk.com domain?
That's like those .ltd.uk domains, mad and pointless.
I can get .com and .co.uk domains (i.e. proper domains)
for $8.97 a year from dnbuy.net (I have 7 domains with them)0
