Rubbish at BM Bread - Help !

I'm pretty new to automatic bread-making myself, so barring mechanical failure, if I can do it so can you

the MR should produce a decent loaf. I looked yours up on their site but can't see one with 'Traditional Long Loaf' on the front. Mine's a MR Fastbake but is not listed on the site either. I had to look on the plate on the back to get the model number, 48261. have a look & see what yours is, maybe someone else here will have the same one & be able to help

did you try seraphina's suggestion of testing it with a breadmix?

I did try with a breadmix & it was okay rather than stunning. Amazing smell though.
I am just going to make more effort & do one every weekend because everyone says their first few were failures, so maybe i just gave in too easily. :rolleyes:
