Tesco Clubcard Christmas Savers

Options
Does anyone have any more information on this. I am thinking if I do not get vouchers issued until November it will give me 2 years from then to collect enough vouchers for a holiday instead of 2 years from now (working on vouchers only being valid for 2 years from date of issue - if you see what I am getting at). Also interesting about bonus vouchers. If anyone has any more info I would be grateful.

Christmas Savers:
Clubcard Vouchers are our way of saying thank you for shopping with us, which is why we've introduced the Clubcard Christmas Saver.

You will receive your quarterly Statements as usual - the only difference is that we'll hold back your Clubcard Vouchers until your November Statement - so you can put even more towards the cost of your festive shopping.

You can boost your Christmas savings with up to £360 each year by 'paying in' at the till.

Simply top-up your balance at the checkout with cash, credit or debit card. Plus, we will give you Bonus Vouchers based on the top-ups you've made, combined with your Clubcard Points collected by the time your November Statement is issued.

  • Hi, I thought about this too but after reading the Tesco website I changed my mind. It seems that the vouchers cannot be used for clubcard deals only against your shopping or things bought in Tesco.com under this scheme. May have read it wrong but you maybe should check it out yourself before you sign up. :kisses3:

Your normal vouchers earnt by spending/extra points etc can be used for deals. But if you pay extra cash in at the till, you get vouchers for that amount (plus any bonus amounts) that can only be used in store. So you get two seperate types of vouchers.

  • the scheme has been up and running for over a year now. you just need to pick up a leaflet in store and scan the barcode which then enters u in to christmas savers.
really good idea, specially if saving up for deals
  • I am saving up my clubcard points for a holiday and I can't understand how joining this scheme will help, other than the expiry date on your vouchers will be extended by having the vouchers posted out in November.

If you top up then you can't use this against Clubcard Deals, so why bother if thats why you are saving them?

The fact that the expiry date is extended is a good reason to join, plus the vouchers are safer (you can't lose them if you haven't got them lol) And I know the top ups can't be used against clubcard deals, but if you top up, they give you bonus money.

    Last year the bonus was:

If you saved between £49 and £96.00 you get a £1 bonus voucher, between £97 and £143.99 you get a £3 bonus voucher. Between £144 to £360 you get a £6 bonus voucher (you can only save £360).

If you put £144 into your account, you get a £6 voucher, which is actually 4.1666% return on your money for however long they have it.

If you top up just before the mail out, then you can use the vouchers on your next few shops, and you get a good return for the money.
