beaujolais-nouveau - I didn't really mean to get into an argument - the good mood I was in on Friday seems to have evaporated and I seem to be in "nit pick" mode. I suggest ignoring me until my normal sunny disposition returns. Shouldn't be long.

If the UK has trouble selling Gilts on the international market.. you may find that a certain 'independent' body else comes along to snap up the debt ;)

    Perhaps the BoE? ;)

This is all really weird. Yet again the world hurtles towards recession.

Its almost as if basing an entire global economy on a system whereby money can only be created by debt, the process of which is controlled by a small elite of themselves ultra rich; just doesnt work.

Almost like that, but it must be different, something we havent tried yet surely.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to attend to my horse. He hasnt moved in a good long while but I reckon if I give him a decent leathering with this riding crop it should get him going.
