I have 2 disco lights, they have a 24v 250w dichoric lamp behind a lens. the lens has come away from the metal case, i have been told to use a silicone to restick it, ? i dont know how hot the metal gets, so any ideas what i should use, please.

Use clear silicon - available from builder merchants. I've used it on car parts which get really hot (exhaust joints) - I think it's good for about 300 degrees C0
