Reviving the economy, not here....

Woke up to Radio 4 this morning to news of potential bale out for LDV vans and the toxic debt insurance scheme for the banks, all i could think was that i'd better reduce my spending as much as possible and put as much as i could by in savings as the future tax increases to pay for all this could be a real problem for me.
At least on my part, this government spending is stopping me contributing to the economy....

I have to fully agree with you.
Every morning my alarm plays the Today programme from 7am, and with each new initiative and government announcement I get more pessimistic - and less likely to spend anything at all, much less on big items like cars and houses!0
