A little bit of advice

Hi, this is my first post and this seems a friendly forum. I've just started a debt managment plan with CCCS and about to make my first payment. I've followed the advice they have given me (if anyone from CCCS is reading this, you lot are great by the way
). The only thing which is worry ing me slightly is that I've got 3 outstanding payday loans & as per instructions I've cancelled the direct debits etc for these. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience in dealing with these companies whilst in a debt management plan? I'm aware that at least one of the companies is based abroad so I'm not sure if they would recognise UK law regarding debt management & I've also read they can be "tenacious" in trying to get their money back. As far as I'm aware I'm supposed to treat these like any other debts and they will be covered as part of the management plan.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

Whilst I don't have any specific advice about these type of companies, I can confirm that they will be treated the same as any other creditor, ie that they will be paid in proportion to the amount owed.
good luck

Hi Pieming and welcome. Though I have never had dealings with this type of company I would bet CCCS have. So if you get any communications from them just ask CCCS for advice.
Oh and if you write to them PRINT your name, and refuse to speak to them on the phone.
Good luck.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
