Misselling of endowment by Broker - who do I blame?

We were mis-sold an endowment in 1990 by an Estate Agent broker - he was the same person who showed us the property so obviously not working purely for the endowment company. So who do I blame - we tried, via our mortgage provider, a couple of years ago to pursue a claim but the endowment company were having none of it. It didn't go any further. Now time's running out and if we're going to do something, it needs to be quick. Can anyone help/suggest who can help please?

You complain to the advising company. If you do not know who this is, the product provider can tell you the name and address of the selling advisor. You could also look them up on the FSA register.
