    Why would anyone want to tell someone to laugh out loud? Is it for those who have written something that isn't very funny or is dubious and they need to give guidance to the recipient?

    Thought it stood for 'lots of love'. The one I dislike is when someone puts gr8t. sounds like the way a scouser says great. (not that I have anything against scousers :D just the '8' in the middle of great.
