    Gordon Clown is going to bankrupt this great nation borrowing countless billions to throw at a falling market. How many billions now is it that the clown has borrowed? It must be nearly a trillion by now. :mad:

    Hopefully they will start to offer mortgage deals to existing customers currently on their SVR.

    Will it make a dent? just about.

    Is it smoke and mirrors ? decide for yourself.

    14000000000 / 150000 (average house) = 9333 borrowers.

    Less than 10,000 , how many repo? = about 40000

    Ho dear, yes more public funds goes down the drain by the look of it :eek:
    Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!

    Because it's designed to make housing more expensive, and therefore the UK

    * More in debt
    * Less competitive

    It would do less damage down the drain.
    Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!

    They'll just borrow it like all the other money they've borrowed. Our children and grandchildren will be the ones who'll struggle for decades to pay it back.
