ASDA delivery slots now from £3.50 (from 24th Feb)

As of 24th February the delivery price for some slots will be only £3.50. I think this means if you book after 24th you will find the cheaper slots at the quieter times.

Keep looking out... the website will be changing soon!

Update...

looks like the new website is on it's way... it prompts you to put in your postcode to see if you are one of the lucky ones to view the new website... I'm not a lucky one!

It looks like we'll be back to deliveing up to 10pm! Shame they hadn't told the drivers at my store!!! Also looks like they are getting ready to start deliveries from 7am although there are crosses in those boxes at the moment stopping those slots being available.

I've just noticed on the 'Your Account' page this...
    address_book.jpgYour address book

Here's where you can store all your delivery addresses, like your home, a friend's or neighbour's, even your holiday home.

We've always been told NEVER to deliver to a neighbour... looks like that's changing too!

delivering to holiday homes etc, I can understand. I've used tesco to deliver whenever we book a self catering cottage in this country - so much easier than trying to fit food in the car along with all the luggage or trying to find the nearest supermarket as soon as you arrive.

But what neighbour would accept a full shop for anyone else? When my shopping arrives, the house is total chaos, with boxes & bags everywhere. I know my neighbours well, & they do accept the odd parcel when we are out, but I can't see them being happy with £100+ of shopping for 5 arriving! :D

I'm sure my neighbour wouldn't have room in her fridge and freezer for all my stuff as well as hers!
