Am sorry - i havent caught up with the thread yet, but know lots of you have given me advice and help, so just wanted to thank you all for that. I will stop asking questions soon hopefully and just get on with it! :rotfl:

Havent done so well with the flying today - caught up with some yesterday but still havent updated the list....so havent posted but guess what....

TOOTS - Tuesday is Done :D

Am taking a break now....did the bed. Decluttered room for dusting/polishing etc. Moved clothes rail out of bedroom which i had added to my list as my floordrobe was clear and been needing to move the rail out for a while... and moved it into spare room and then promptly broke it! now i have no where to hang my clothes.....

Ever feel like it doesnt matter what you - you cant win!!! One step forward two back. Decided im not doing anymore today -- am ready for bed. Glass of wine, some chocolate, watching Sleepless in Seattle.

Have found a big jar for my loose change and rounded up £9.25 just from my handbag, bedroom and a little pot in the kitchen - will split that between my loose change and sealed pot - and thats my effort for today.

Off to research receipes for my slow cooker now - see if i can catch up tomorrow when i come home from work since tea will hopefully be ready!!:D

Went to M&S after work again tonight and picked up all the bargains again - £18 including a chicken which hopefully im cooking in my SC.....off to look at those receipes......

Love n hugs to all who need them, will catch up soon xx

ETA: Kasmiester, im sorry - i come on having a whinge. Kinda puts my broken clothes rail into perspective..... I dont know what your OH does but try not to worry.

I had to carry out an investigation at work which resulted in two people being dismissed for gross misconduct. several were suspended pending that investigation however, until we discovered the full extent. It may not mean anything against your other half - could just be procedure. I know its easy to tell you not to worry but hopefully it will be ok. lots of hugs, tea and chocolate - oh and i have wine if you want some xx
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

kaz, same message as mudbath - huge hugs of support for you and OH.

Very best wishes for Beth and soappie.

Just flitting in and out again - no flying to report, apart from washing up after dinner and a bit of flinging of newspapers into recycling...I'll catch up tomorrow.

Now feel in need of a cup of tea and some mindless undemanding rubbish on TV.

    Back tomorrow!

soappie hope pooch is ok and oodles of funding vibes your way x
kazm that sort of thing makes me SO angry, they wonder why paramedics are leaving the service? Hope things are sorted soon.
Diva thinking of you and Tristan's family and loved ones
hellsbells what a nice brother you have
    sexymouse fingers crossed!
mumofjusttwo, it's never easy at first, give yourself time. Sounds like for now it would be a good idea getting him to take the children elsewhere, I don't know anyone who manages at home visits with the NRP.
g&b hope you feel better soon, there has been a sicky bug going round here which in adults seems to start with feeling run down/headache then sickness, take it easy honey just incase x
Mudbath did you want the caravan list?

Yay passed my iCMA and my TMA :D:D bit annoyed as I missed marks because some of the equations I did disappeared when I saved it as a .doc instead of .docx, no idea what went wrong but anyway I passed them both which is the main thing!

Went to see little Matthew before my hydrotherapy appointment (which should be renamed hydrotorture as I'm in agony again!) who has the above mentioned bug now, he was upset and refusing his lunch when I first got there, then proceeded to throw up everywhere.....just hoping I don't start with it

Not going to be able to get much done tomorrow as at old neighbours funeral. Dad's sent me the postcode so should find it ok. Been arguing with DP, again, over holidays this time. Really lost my temper with him as he's putting clubs stuff before his family, I support him year round with it and asked for him to give us his time over the summer holidays and he can't even do that, grrr! We'll see, I think I shocked him when I stamped my feet. We give up too much for these clubs as it is (he's now involved with 2) for example yesterday calling round organising stuff, today waiting for deliveries of portaloos, even paying for it because the clubs got no funds for it, helping with the track, organising catering etc. I don't think me asking for 6 weeks of the year where we come first is bad/mean.

Spending/Waste challenge, I wasted a end bit of a bloomer bread (was 5p for the bloomer) spending I got things I needed to do spag bol (mushrooms, passata and cheese) realised how long it is since I bought spaghetti as this batch I used tonight went out of date 20/7/08 (but of course I still used it) few other things I needed but did buy pistachio nuts which I didn't need :o ooops. That said only spent £10.27 so not bad and I need to update my spend total (my month started Monday for 5 weeks)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Thanks Toots I'm a little staggered myself... but I've still a long way to go!

DD3's blood test was DREADFUL. She was hysterical. OH had to hold her down, and me, plus 2 nurses. :( The only upside was that given how stressed she already was.... I asked if we could be seen quicker than usual. They took us straight in... I was amazed. I never usually ask for things like that, but I knew she wouldn't cope with the wait. :o
Anyway, that bit's over with now, so we'll just have to wait and see how we get on.

Sarahshattered - congrats on the interview, you are doing really well to get an interview in the current market. I have circulation problems and get chillblains. Sheepskin slippers really help, as do furry lined boots. The old wives tales around not sitting too close to the fire/hot baths are actually true, be careful of rapid temperature changes - cold feet in very hot bath sets mine off.

Thanks Hex that's really useful. My Dad has been dispatched to find sheepskin slippers for DD3. My Mum found lovely fleecy thick bottomed socks, and some lovely mittens reduced in Millets. My Dad is going back tomorrow to see if he can buy some more.
DH has been round to see the children but as I was a little tearful has said he couldn't handle it and has gone back home. He was looking really smart and I was finding it hard but I don't think he understand and now I seem to be taking it out on the children by yelling at them. :(

DH has told DS and he doesn't even seem fussed.

    Sorry.

So sorry that's been so hard for you today hun. Kids are blinkin resilient aren't they, so maybe DS is relieved the tension in the house has gone? I don't know love, it must be very very hard.

ETA: just see your last post... well done you for talking to him a little more about it. (((hugs))) to you lovie.

Soappie happy, 'no nasties' woofler vibes for the pooch.

Oh... just read your post about looking on t'internet at grizzly pics... it's very bad for you Soappie. I'm convinced that DD3's got all sorts of hideous things now, if I hadn't looked I'd not have even heard of half of them. Fingers crossed here for boo and huge (((hugs))) for you. Hope B&W tv does it for you.

ETA: Kaz.. sorry to hear that. I'm sure it'll work out ok, but upsetting and infuriating while it's going on. It happened to my OH years ago. He was suspended and escorted home. The investigation was held, and he was apologised to, and reinstated. Horrible while it was going on though. I remember being absolutely outraged!!!!!

Lil_me well done you on passing... clever girlie!!! :j :D And sending 'no sicky' vibes for you, and hope little Matthew recovers soon.

  • Have caught up now! So glad it's Friday tomorrow and I can get home earlier; I'm so tired this week!

rosepink - hope the wages get sorted. In my second month at my current school I got paid virtually nothing as the LEA decided I was working part time and also deducted what they thought they had overpaid me the month before! Took a week for them to send a cheque out for the right amount!

jo - I'm thinking of getting a breadmaker too; will let you know if I find anything

Diva - huge hugs and prayers for you, Tristan and his family x

SS - hope today wasn't too traumatic for you all - and well done on the interview

soappie - hugs for you and doggy

hellsbells - hope you're feeling better and wow! what a great brother!

mojt - hugs for you and the 'two'; take care x

kazmeister - hugs for you and OH

sexymouse - good luck for tomorrow!

Have just been flicking back through a few pages and realise there are lots of people who still need my support as well as me needing you guys. I actually have tears in my eyes at the mo and appreciate just how much of a real community we are whether in all day or just popping in and out :A . Thank you all for your messages (Jo - OH's a paramedic!)

I want to add my support to Sarahshattered for her poor DD and her probs, Diva for Tristan, soappie for poor doogie, emily, MOJT, lilme and DP(and congratulations) and i'm sure there will be more when I go back.

Still every cloud has a silver lining, at least if its not sorted by Saturday he'll be home for my unbirthday instead of a night shift :D .

I think I'll go and make the lunches have a latte and an early night

    thanks again xxxxxxx
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

ETA: (((((hugs)))))) Kaz. It's a bit pants all round just now eh??!!! :) enjoy your latte, sounds yummy.

ETAx2 :  Boddy hope you're well lovie, I keep meaning to send a little wave in your direction, and it keeps falling out of my sieve brain. xx
