    Morning all

    I think I've completed Friday's list Toots.

I've got the cats blanket and the dogs towel in the washing machine now.
Vacuumed right through downstairs, after tidying round.
    S&Sd kitchen
    S&Sd bathroom and toilet.
Sorted out a couple of boxes from the back bedroom and relocated a couple of things and put another to one side for the charity shop. I can't do much until after the carpet is fitted on Monday and we move the bookcases back in. Then I can really start unpacking the boxes and sneakily getting rid of some more stuff that we never use.
Don't have any ironing. (I only iron if we're going out somewhere special, the rest of our stuff was bought to not need ironing).
Windows were done outside earlier this week and I've done the insides as I've done each room.

    Took the dog out.
    Peeled potatoes for dinner.

    Watched ER.

Not caught up yet, hope everyone's OK.

anyway Im thinking of doing a teaching degree do you think 33 is to late to start??

I'm 30 (just) and I've just started studying for my degree last May, you're never too old to start teaching :D You don't retire until you're in your 65ish anyway (then you could just cut down to being a supply teacher ;) ) so even if it took you 4 years to do your degree, you still have at least 28 years of teaching ahead of you ;):rotfl::rotfl:Some of the teachers in my school have been teaching for 30+ years and do a fantastic job :D Plus with your sense of humour you'd make a great teacher! :D

My mother is going thursday (dachsies) and we are going down with the 2 girls on saturday and sunday...coffee??? Rescue me from the tedium??

I'll be there on the Saturday too - working but sure I can probably take a break at some stage - will go and crawl to the boss. (Will PM you the details of where I'll be - once I find the bit of paper that has it on.) And it will be lovely to meet you in the real world!

Today have had the ultimate incentive to tidy up - an estate agent came in. We're not moving yet but wanted a chat about prices and how the market was going locally. Nice to know we were about right on our guess on what we are worth.

Now to find my shopping list and set off to get food and SOAP POWDER (keep forgetting it). And put it away before the school run. WM is sounding as though its taking off - better hang that out first. Umm - time for a cuppa first???

Phoned to report a water leak at the top of the road I live in - as at least 50 people walk through the puddle to school (it has been there 2 days) I thought loads would have called, or at least the people who live in the house it is outside - you've guessed it nobody has rang. Same thing happened in the summer with a leak around the corner. I really don't understand the General public.

In my HHC, I got the kitchen and pantry tidied. I'm planning baking this afternoon, so got out all my ingredients. Been down to see the chooks, and one is looking quite poorly. You never know with chooks, though, they can be at death's door one day, then chasing around the next

DD might be coming home for lunch with 2 of her friends - prefects' privelege that they can leave school from time to time, and they want to come here for a cup of tea :D

Washing pegged out and the machine is on a cleaning wash now with soda crystals and vinegar.

It's sunny and windy here, the washing should dry well hopefully.
