Hubby with platform, still in fixed period and we want to move with me added on!

My husband owns our property. He has a mortgage with platform who are an intermediary lender of Brittania. The fixed term ends in Sept but we want to move and I will need to be added on if possible so that we can increase the amount borrowed.
Is this possible do you think? Hubby secured the loan using a broker. Will we have to go through a broker again? And what is an intermediary lender?
