Hi, please can tell me what they do, what are the procedures, do I just get a letter to say I am now with them or do I have to do things. Will they want valuations, etc.
Has anyone had any bad experiences when they have been transferred to them.

It could be you are on your way to early discharge.

As far as I'm aware they don't do anything other than distribute your assest, IPA and nil tax code money to creditors.
Although it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get ED, it just means the OR has finished investigating. We have members who have been with RTLU since last summer without a sniff of ED.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I got transferred to RTLU in mid Jan. They are dealing with my nil tax code IPA, I dont have any other assets or house or anything. I received an early dischagre income and expenditure this week to fill out and return and now Im crossing my fingers!!!!0

The examiner never mentioned an IPA, can I still be given one, but I was given a nil tax code and when I had my interview he said that the tax I was getting in my wages to take it to him at the insolvency office a the end of march. I am now confused, who do i give it to?
The house is in negative equity and I do not have any assets. I have received a letter from the OR to ask if I want to but the BI and to get a valuation, that letter arrived the day before my RTLU letter, the OR said not to do anything about BI letter and wait to hear from RTLU. Again I am confused, anybody else experience this.
I will not get ED as I accepted a loan that was offered to me in May 2008 and the examiner said if he does not give me BRO he may just not let me have ED, he said he was not sure if he I had acted reckless or I was just desperate and believes me I had no intention of going br. I am not bothered about ED I just want to feel reassured that the RTLU is a good thing that is happening.0 -
I would say that if they were going to give an IPA they would have done it by now as sending you to RTLU is them saying they are finished with you and can they be released. This happened to me in December and 2 weeks ago i then received a letter to say i had been given ED in January.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
