Isn't that a bit of a niche? There are plenty of companies that rent out a large range of games for all the recent consoles. Why would you do better than any of them? How would you get the economies of scale those companies have? Why would a customer want to come to you rather than go to, say, Blockbusters?

I'm not talking about renting just the game out I'm talking about going to places like pubs etc like you would with a karaoke machine for a karaoke night but instead of a microphone and bad singing you get guitars and bad playing! If there is a market for renting out karaoke machines to pub/clubs why can't there be one for renting out Wii's and Guitar Hero?

the landlord might as well buy the game and console for the price of it rather than rent.

it might not be legal to play the game for public entertainment - not sure though.
  • Theres a guitar hero set-up in my local however it is a student pub and I think it would be most successul in similar pubs. However, the game isn't really that much so I think landlords would tend to just go out and buy it themselves rather than rent it.

Don't a lot of pubs just do the same with karaoke too - just buy their own machine?

yes, a lot if pubs now have their own karaoke machines and just advertise for the "presenter". They can pay the presenter a fair bit less if they are the ones that are providing the equipment.
