Hi TismE,
There is a sticky on the top of this page called List of Challenges 2008/9. It's a bit out of date but it will give you an idea.
At the end of every month (usually about the 27th/28th of the month) the next month's challenges are posted. Pick the ones that sound good but it can be dangerous to pick too many!!
Good luck.

Hi TismE
You're more than welcome at the sealed pot challenge. It's a long-haul one and finishes on the 1 DEC. Basically it does what it says on the pot. Seal one and put in as much as you can.
It's a very supportive thread (clearly because I'm on it) and you'll be warmly welcomed. Here's a linky. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=19034527&highlight=sealed+pot#post19034527
And of course there's nothing to stop you starting your own challenge. Good Luck!

Hellooooooooo
I am in loads of challenges - not doing so well at all of them :rotfl:
No-one is too fussy about whether you have joined for the whole challenge or not so don't worry too much.
The £100 clothes challenge is a year long one and you would be more than welcome to join late there as well as the sealed pot one (which I am also on)
The 100 day challenge is half way through but you could do the remainder of this one as a run up to starting the next one on, err, just under 50 days.
Some are a bit harder to join late but you can pro-rata (eg the pay £20k by Dec 2009 one) and others are less open to pro-rata but if you want to work your bum off you could still be in the running (like the first to £15k paper hat one)
Some of the make more money ones can be good too (make £10 a day or ebay/ebid challenges)
Oh and the NSD (no spend day) challenges and 'what will I spend' challenged really help with getting sorted with a budget.
What are the main things that you need to sort out?? I guess that will then identify the challenges that are best for you...£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hi there. I can recommend the Payment a Day challenge as a recent-ish newbie. Idea is to pay an amount per day to debts - big or small - and post it up daily. Can be joined at any time.
This one has helped me pay £400 extra to debt since the new year - money where I honestly don't have a clue what it was being spent on before!!
Just enter "PAD" in the forum search and it shoudl find the thread....Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS :
