Pink Sparkling Wine - £1.99

Did a quick search so apologies if posted elsewhere.

My local Tesco has the Villa Garducci pink fizz reduced to £1.99 a bottle. I think this is the valentines day wine that was on offer with chocs for a fiver. It is a fairly sweet wine, 7.5% vol - a bit like Asti (well, I had to get one to try it.....) possibly a useful buy to get now for mothers day?

Forgot to say this wasn't actually down the wine ailse in my store - they had loads of boxes stacked up on a pallett at the end of the freezers!

was also in my local tesco (Burnage Manchester) loads of them at the front of the store - havent tried it yet, but hopefully cant go too far wrong for £1.99

Had the Lily O'Brien chocs for £1 as well, in my local Tesco (Gateshead).

I bought this on Valentines day and it was lovely, I thought it was worth the £5 for the wine and chocs. It is very sweet though so if thats not your thing Id steer clear.

I tried this only last week and think it's really nice. My drink of choice everytime is Martini Asti Spumanti (has to be the Martini brand!) and i find this similar in taste, and a lot cheaper.

I tried this on valentines day, and was lovely. So got another 4 bottles today!

I got a box today as i saw it whilst shopping and it seemed like a brilliant offer, I have a few little presents to get people so can add this to it as well as having something in when the mood takes!

There were plenty left in my Tesco and chocs too.

For a school fete would this be OK to help get the party going. We have a BBQ but that shouldn't make much of a difference just whether it's half decent or not.
