There is a great offer of a set of kitchen knives from Jean-Patrique. For the five knives it costs £1.99 and £9.99 Postage and Packing. The normal Price is stated to be £125!!
The knives are a 10" Carving Knife, 9" Bread Knife, 8" Chef's Knife, 5" Utility KNife and a 3.5" Paring Knife. I have a set from the last time that the offer was available and can confirm that they are great value for £11.98:D

I have seen this offer before and was very tempted, has anyone actually bought a set? Would they have been worth the RRP? It does seem a bit too good to be true, that's why I never ordered one before, but they often appear in Sunday supplements, you would think if it was a scam they wouldn't let them advertise, so maybe it is a genuine offer?
Oh sorry I misread your post, you have the whole set? Are they proper blades that can be sharpened with a sharpening steel?0 -

Yes, they are proper blades that can be sharpened with a steel. I was a bit concerned when I ordered them, but was well pleased when they arrived, especially as only paid the £9.99 postage. They are one piece knives, exactly the same as the website.
I have also bought a butter knife, a sandwich knife for just the price of the postage and a 3-Piece Oriental Chef's Knife Set for £9.99 plus postage. The site gives details of all the knives and offers seem to come up every few months.
I think that they are extremely good value for what the offer prices are but would question the RRP.
Hope this helps! To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -
They are supposed to be OK, but not the fantastic quality that they say they are.

The first link no longer works.
As I have previously said, I doubt the RRP of £125  but for £12ish, the knives are good value, even if they end up as garden knives, except for the bread one, which I think is quite good:D.To Dare is To Do:beer:0 -
