Does anybody have experience using folding bikes? Are they easy to fold/unfold, comfortable/not, durable/not?

i have a dahon boardwalk. fine for shortish journeys and relatively easy to fold. if you have the money though, i'd recommend getting a mid range brompton.0

i had one it was just as strong as a normal bike and folds in 5 secondsFr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0

we have two. They are superb to ride. Very strong and takes seconds to fold0

Thank you all for your feedback, could you please advise the make of the bike? I'm so tempted to have a bike but I can't afford buying a bike rack.0

I do a 120 overnight cycle ride and saw 2 people doing it on folding bikes, one was a dahon (mentioned above), the other was on a brompton. As far as I was aware, the bromptons seem to be the daddy of folding bikes (very small easy to fold etc.) My local bike shop in Bromley is a bit of a specialist so I got a fair bit of lowdown from them...
