End of tether - Police pension

I have been retired from the constabulary for almost 6 months, but have yet to receive my full monthly pension. I received my lump sum after several complaints to the local pension office, but these delays in paying my monthly sum are making me ill.

I have made numerous calls to the pension office following written correspondence from them where they have miscalculated the pension amounts. They admit that that processing the monthly pension takes a few weeks (try months).

I received another letter today where they have made further deductions that do not exist, ie they have deducted certain state benefits which do not get duducted. It is like they are processing someone elses pension, not mine.
They are witholding all the amounts due to me until they get it correct, which is just not happening.

I spoke to the Pensions manager on the telephone who admitted that she was not 100% confident in what she was doing as she was new at the job - some admission!
Where can I complain to? A written complaint several weeks ago to the manager of the Pensions Office was lost by them.
Their incompetence is financially crippling me.

Thnaks, good advice. I was waiting to see what this forum produced. I had tried posing the same question to the Police Federation, but was met with the same uninterested response. It was " these things take time", or " nothing to do with us, you are retired now". Sign of the times.

I will try NARPO though and hopefully, will have a better response.

I suppose trying to get others to act in the same professional manner as you were accostomed to doing, is quite difficult, and almost impossible at best.

Perhaps slightly off thread but how do you go and see your local MP. I've never met mine despite wide local publicity to say that they were doing a walkabout in my street. I didn't notice
    Awaiting a new sig

Ring up his local party office and make an appointment when he has a "surgery" for local constituents - usually at the weekends.
