Hello everyone,
I don't normally post over here on the OS Board, but pop over for inspiration every once in a while.
This article is about my Grandmother back home in Canada. When I was a child, people often made fun of Rose and her ways but life often comes full circle doesn't it?
I hope you enjoy it!

What is doesn't tell you in the aritcle is that Rose never throws away anything-she recycles, she re-uses and cooks everything from scratch.
She grows her own fruit and veg and makes jams/preserves and sells them for income. She also bakes wonderful cakes and pies.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

What a lovely article.
She reminds me quite a lot of my grandmother and the way she lived her life. Sadly my grandmother passed a number of years ago, yet I still remember as a child helping her in her 3 gardens, with preparing food for canning and freezing, and the taste of her strawberry jam.
She also was the one that taught me to crochet, cook, bake and go fishing. Thanks so very much for sharing your grandmother with us. Now only does her story make me smile, it also brought wonderful memories back to me.Take the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.
