Having read the various postings on this item, I have just one query.
I'm partially-hearing and would like to know if the remote control has a facility to switch to subtitles assuming that the DVD discs are able to play subtitles in the first place.

Sorry...i do feel like i'm an idiot but...when i went to this website, i just have to question the last instruction which is " press the open button on your player to close the drive tray".
