Red grape juice - cheapest place to buy?

Comments

  • I've tried the recent 'cheap' one in Tesco, but I do prefer the Lidl one, even though it's a few pence more. It's sweeter and has more grape taste, I think.

It's getting more difficult to find juices that are actually 100% juice and not a juice drink - which of course means that it contains a large amount of water!
I refuse point-blank to pay for diluted juice . If I wanted that then I'd add water from the tap into the glass. Yuk.

I agree. I haven't tried the Lidl one yet but I did really like the Aldi one that was in their chilled section. It was certainly pure juice, very strong flavour, very sweet.
I queried at Sainsburys their 3 for £2 offer as it's in the fruit juice section and says something like 'all juices' which in my opinion would include grape juice (which is about 10p more than the others). Nothing anywhere states the grape juice isn't included in the offer, I was told this by the customer services people. I've whinged direct to Sainsburys customer services, pointing out that Morrisons do it 3 for £2...I'll be interested to know what they say...

Just DON'T go for the Morrisons brand in the Tetra carton. The plastic lid breaks off every time, and when you try to pour it out, because of the way the spout is designed, you will get more on the floor than in your glass. Very infuriating and if you're trying to save money - it's NOT a good buy regardless of the price.
