Majestic is the only national wine retailer to offer FREE wine tasting in-store all day, every day, plus a programme of themed tastings:
This February we will be comparing the wines of France and South Africa. Pop along during these weeks to taste the elegance of France and the richness of South African wines.
    • 6-12 February: French Vs. South African Reds
    • 20-26 February: French Vs. South African Whites

  • I would like to learn a bit about wine and wine tasting and I'm a complete wine novice. Can anyone recommend anywhere in Kent/SE London to do this? :)

Well if your seious about it, try going to Borough market (London Bridge station) as they have a really good wine seller there, I have lots of wine buffs in my family/step family and for Christmas, if I want to get them wine I just go in and say they are such and such age, like this, don't like that, have this much to spend and they sort me out a wine- I get "thats really an impressive wine" from relatives who are normally people who call a spade a spade. I really think these people know their stuff, they do sometimes test wines- and if your serious about buying something will really help you out.
