advise on my morgage

hiya all i could do with a little advise on my best options.
i have a 2 year fixed morgage with abbey 6.19% which ends october 8th. property value is £170k
morgage was £120k over 25 years but i overpaid £12k this year so balance will be £108k.
i am currently paying around £730 per month & should be able to carry on paying the same amount even if payments go down (i.e. i can overpay a little).
i am ideally looking for a fixed rate deal so i know exactly what i have to pay each month
i am pretty lost when it comes to finding the best deal so any advise would be gratefull

You are a few months too early to start looking around. Start thinking about it again in the summer.
When you do, see what the Abbey will offer you and if you want to compare that deal, given as you've said your 'pretty lost' go and see a broker.

Most lenders will hold a deal for 3 months and some for 6 months so you are a bit early yet - try and find out which lenders provide 3/6 months so that you can look at their rates at the appropriate time and consider the position then
