Improve Credit Report

Does anyone have any ideas how to drastically improve a poor credit report / score? Ive gone through my report - lots of mistakes so have had them corrected.

Also my husband is on my report although i would like to get him removed - his credit is worse than mine and were not 'financially linked' does anyone know if they will do this?

Even after these corrections have been made my score still seems low.

I have defaulted in the past but have done everything i can to put this right and for a long time now have been making over the minumum payment, and debts drastically reduced.

Any Ideas?

To get dissassociated from your husband is easy providing you have no finacial links with him.

There must be no joint bank accounts or joint credit cards or mortgage,in fact joint anything.If that is clear then just write to the credit agencies requesting this and they will send you the form to sign and thats it easy peazy...I know coz i did it last year.
