Hey,
What is the best mortgage for 1st time buyers with 60% deposit? Needing to borrow £120,000.
I know very little about mortgages and what our best options would be!
we have been into our bank (LloydsTSB) and they said our best is a 3yr fixed at 4.39% changing to variable 2% above base rate. Is this really our best option?

With a 60% deposit "the world is your lobster" as Hilda Ogden used to say.
The offered mortgage looks competitive to me.
But there are other posters who may know of something better................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0
