debt sold on?

Hi there,
I have been trying to sort out my debt and was speaking to the 2 companies. I was requested to send in a breakdown of my income and expenses and I did this. However Barclaycard then decided that even although I did as asked to sell my debt to another company.
They apparently sold it on 2 weeks ago even although I have heard nothing from either them or the company they sold it on to. The first I was told was when I just called them to find out what was happening regarding my payments.
So in other words where do I stand regarding this? I have been talking to them, been upfront and honest about my situation, and trying to work with them to solve it.
Any help or pointers are appreciated

I would wait until they contact you.
If Barclaycard have sold the debt on the other company will probably contact you soon enough - probably sending a letter asking you to phone them. Don't do this. Insist that all communication be in writing only and then deal with them by letter so you have proof of everything agreed in writing.
While you are waiting for them to contact you, i would put the extra money aside in a savings account and hopefully if it takes them quite a while to contact you, you could offer a reduced full and final settlement either on this debt or another. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
