New New Debt Person!

hia

ok, here is my situ:

I have a loan of 23k for 6 years...

Am i right to be putting this to one side while I sort out my evil EGG card which is charging me £80 a month interest? plus the other cards i have ? erm, i think so ?! Although if anyone has any tips about loans and how to bring interest/payments down then please let me know. Thing, is as the payments are £336 a month this is stopping me from getting the rest of my debts down.

    Hey there Jules,

The best thing to do would be to post up an SOA (have a look at the sticky at the top of the forum - or someone will post up a link soon I'm sure) and then everyone can advise much better.

The question re your CCs vs. the loan can be answered much better in the context of your wider financial situation. It would also depend a lot on the interest rates you're being charged for the loan and for the CCs!

Hi jules and welcome to the boards:hello:

Like Jenna has said if you post your SOA use this link

Maybe we could suggest a few tweaks to your budget

If you have any surplus cash pay it off the Egg card, but make sure you still pay the loan
